Q1 : What is plaque mounting?
Plaque mounting is the process by which your artwork (poster, print, photo, etc.) is laminated onto medium-density fiberboard, or MDF. The edges are then bevelled and painted with a colour of your choice.

Q2 : How do I mount my Plaque Mount to the wall?
You can mount your plaque using a suitable size, flat head nail, screw, or picture hanger. The plaque is equipped with a keyhole hanger cut out on the back, so you need only insert the nail head into the wide end of the hanger and slide the plaque along the nail until it sits straight on the wall.
For a detailed guide please see this page: Hanging Plaque Mounts

Q3 : How are plaque mountings done?
Your product will be mounted to MDF/wood and heat pressed. A special UV protective vinyl is laminated over the print and heat-pressed with 90 tons of pressure. The edges are then finished with your choice of color or pattern.

Q4 : Why should I choose plaque mounting over conventional picture framing?
Plaque mounting is a more affordable alternative to picture framing. Because, unlike picture framing, there is no glass involved, plaques are safe for use in kids' rooms and other high-activity areas. They also have an easy-to-clean surface.

Q5 : How can I place an order for plaque mounting?
There are two ways to order a plaque mount product:
1- If you have a digital copy of your original photo or document, upload it through our upload page, select Plaque Mount, and continue from there.
2- If you have a poster or printed material that you would like plaque mounted, start by entering the size using our online price calculator. Then select the style you want, and continue to checkout. Once we have received your order details, we will send our address details by email, so you may mail the originals to us. Using mailing tubes is recommended for most printed materials.

Orders over $99 will be shipped free, otherwise our flat rate shipping fee is $19.

Q7 : What articles should not undergo the plaque mounting process?

Q13 : How long will it take for my prints to be plaque mounted?

Q14 : Do you provide plaque mounting for more than 1 photo per board?
Yes, if you have small photos or other printed material like newspaper snips and would like to make a collage, just place an order for the final plaque size and mail the printed material to be plaque mounted together.
